Bank of America: (866) 880-1232 One of the most generous of the major home lending banks, B of A has a program called the Cooperative Short Sale Program. If you are eligible for this program and if you qualify, you could get between $2,500 and $30,000 cash to relocate.
The important thing to know about this program is that B of A needs to give approval before your house goes on the market. You don’t qualify if you’ve already listed your house. Sounds crazy, right?

Chase: (866) 209-1720 In a short sale where your originating loan is with Chase, “you could still be responsible for the difference between the mortgage balance and the sale amount.” However the incentive may be as high as $45,000; it’s worth investigating!
